Jim founded the firm in 1974 and is responsible for the firm’s services
to public housing authorities. He also has extensive experience in
many areas of the assisted housing industry and has played a key role
in advising clients and agencies about various assisted housing programs.
Jim is also a certified financial planner.Jim received a B.S. from the University of Maine at Orono in 1969 and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern Maine in 1975. He received the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1986. Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. Jim is a Board member of the Maine Real Estate Development Association, a former Board member and Treasurer of Deering Pavilion and a past president of the Cumberland County Affordable Housing Venture. These involvements have fostered excellent working relationships with government agencies and community leaders. Jim has also been a speaker at many HUD, NAHRO and state agency conferences. |
