Audit - Upon joining Otis|Atwell, not only will you work directly with a team of experienced auditors, you will soon be responsible for performing staff level services for all aspects of an audit project. Working 2 years on just Accounts Receivable simply doesn’t happen here. As a result of this method of training, Otis Atwell can provide you with a challenging environment if your goal is to have a real chance for promotion without sacrificing your life for work.
Tax- Our tax professionals, like our audit professionals, are sought after throughout New England. Some audit staff accountants are groomed for our tax team. This is another key benefit of our small firm approach. Accountants are not limited to audit or tax, as our career path environment includes two way communication and choice.
Internships
Otis|Atwell now offers internships during the months from January through March. This program is available only for students who are able to work full days five days a week, which includes travel, to provide audit services for many of our Northern New England clients. Students should have at least 5 weeks available for full time work during these three months. Interns will assist in performing audits with an experienced team. This allows interns full exposure to our hands-on audit approach. Along with earning a generous hourly rate, students also have an excellent opportunity to become full-time employees after successful completion of the internship program.
